Bujanovac – The Tourist Organization of Bujanovac (TOB) applied to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Serbia for financial resources for the project of categorizing private accommodation facilities and for educating their respective owners. The project is worth 600,000 dinars

“The jobs of categorizing rural tourism households and facilities for the letting of rooms are within the competence of a five-member municipal committee, which includes representatives of the TOB, too. Based on the decision on the categorization of the facilities, which is issued by the local self-government, the landlord concludes a lease agreement with the Tourist Organization, which is followed by the categorization of the facilities and education of their owners, "says Stanko Ikic, a senior associate with the TOB.

15 private accommodation facilities have been categorized in the area of the ​​Bujanovac municipality so far, although the Tourist Organization estimates that there are about forty of them.

The said facilities have 120 beds for letting. The accommodation tax, which, upon collection, goes to the budget of the municipality of Bujanovac, is 40 dinars for individuals and 60 dinars for legal entities.
