THREE VILLAGES NEAR BUJANOVAC ARE WITHOUT WATER SUPPLY DUE TO FAULTY PUMPS

Bujanovac – The villages of Zuzeljica, Ljiljance and Bozinjevac, which are near Bujanovac, do not have water supply because "the pumps burned out due to electric power", says Adem Hasani, the President of the Provisional Authority that manages the Public Company "Komunalac".

While answering the question of the councilors about the issue of water supply in those villages, Mr. Hasani mentioned the faulty pumps as the cause, without specifying how far the replacement of the pumps had come and when the locals would get water.

“We are working on it. We have had many breakdowns so far.  The pumps burned out due to electricity. We will solve the problem soon and normalize the distribution of water, "Mr. Hasani said at the session of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac on Friday, where he presented the report on the work of the utility company in the previous year.

According to earlier announcements of the local self-government, the long-standing problem with water supply in the villages of Zuzeljica, Ljiljanac and Bozinjevac will be solved this year, because the booster stations necessary for an uninterrupted water supply have finally been provided. The putting of the booster stations into operation has been postponed due to the state of emergency, Ilir Taipi said in April.
