The Open Society Foundation, Serbia has launched three project support calls.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is March 2, 2020.
The calls were issued under the programs "Citizens' Activism and Democratization", "Public Integrity and Anti-Corruption" and "Ethnic Minorities and Roma Inclusion". The total amount of funds earmarked for the funding of projects collected through the call is 1,100,000 US dollars.
"Projects may be submitted by civil society organizations and institutions (civic associations, informal citizen groups, active participants in the spheres of independent culture and the arts, academic institutions, think-tank organizations, trade unions, the media, etc.), national councils of national minorities, governmental and local bodies, institutions and establishments etc.” the Foundation said.
The applicant must be registered or domiciled in the Republic of Serbia.
Priority will be given to the projects that communicate directly and clearly with the citizens, are based on innovative and creative approaches and methodologies, and liaise horizontally with other civil society players.
During the call, information workshops will be organized for interested participants in the call:
- On February 11, 2020 in Novi Sad at the Media Center of Vojvodina, Sutjeska 2 /Entrance 8 /SPENS – from 12 am to 2 pm;
- -On February 12, 2020 in Nis at the Media and Reform Center, Obrenoviceva 38 – from 12 am to 2 pm;
- On February 13, 2020 in Belgrade at the Media Center, Terazije 3 – from 12 am to 2 pm.
