The Government of the Republic of Serbia has earmarked almost one billion and seven hundred million dinars for the revitalization of the farming cooperatives so far, while all the projects implemented thus far have produced the desired effects. The third competition round is underway and the call is open to members of the cooperatives.
Dozens of various projects have been approved and accepted over the previous two competition rounds.
The third competition round, aimed at revitalizing the co-operative society and the survival of the village, which is implemented by the Office of the Minister in charge of regional development of Serbia, the Academic Committee for the Village of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences (SAAS) and the cooperative unions, is open until August 15 for the existing and newly established cooperatives, and until September 1 for complex cooperatives.
New cooperatives can count on the financial assistance of up to 7.5 million dinars, the old ones up to 15 million dinars, while complex cooperatives can get up to 60 million dinars.
