Bujanovac – The two secondary schools in Bujanovac, where classes are held in the Serbian and Albanian languages, have the vacancies for a total of 330 primary school graduates.
According to the Titulli.com portal, the "Sezai Surroi" school has the vaccancies for 210 new secondary school graduates, while the "Saint Sava" school has the vaccancies for 120 of them.
Driton Redzepi, the Head of the municipal Department of Education, said that the local self-government had taken all necessary steps to enroll students in the 2018/19 school year.
The Ministry of Education approved the "Sezai Surroi" school to have the grammar school department, the departments for economic and medical professions, as well as those for mechanical and electrical engineering, whereas the school is requesting approval for the opening of the department for electricians.
The "Saint Sava" school has 120 vacancies at the departments for financial administrators, nurses/kindergarten teachers, motor vehicle technicians, cooks, waiters and pastry chefs.
Entrance exams take place in June, while according to the statistics of the Department of Education in the municipality of Bujanovac, 2,073 primary and secondary school students attend classes in the Serbian language in the 2017/18 school year, and 2,759 of them in the Albanian language.
