Bujanovac – Jetmir Ismaili, the Director of the "Vuk Karadzic" community center in Bujanovac, said that that cultural institution would continue staging plays on its premises.

A theater play, which will be performed by the “Skicusi” theater from Presevo, is scheduled for March 16. The said play is aimed at providing financial assistance to senior students of the "Sezai Surroi secondary school.

“Despite the numerous problems with which the institution was faced, the cinema, located on its premises, started operating in late 2016. 

Thanks to the great help of distributors from Belgrade, 19 films were shown 25 times in 2016," Mr. Ismaili said.

He expects that the same will happen this year as well.

The very next Monday, on March 20, there will be the screening of the film" Pearl of the Bojana River" by Milan Karadzic and of the “Richard the Stork” cartoon for the youngest. 

Bujanovac community center is preparing the traditional "Easter Egg" event, which was launched in 2005. The works of children from primary schools and kindergartens, as well as of their teachers, will be displayed at the exhibition organized in connection with the said event.  The exhibition will be opened during the Easter holidays.

Mr. Ismaili says that the community center launched its portal, which is currently only in the Albanian language, but that its Serbian version is being prepared.
