Bujanovac – The plant for the production of water and soft drinks "Bi-Water" at the village of Rakovac near Bujanovac has existed for almost two decades. The plant operates within the "Jumko" company and employs 100 people. It operates successfully, produces many types of juice, and is a socially responsible company. Its management and workers organized the tenth blood donation campaign.
They produce refreshing drinks of different flavors and natural mineral water that is rich in mineral salts – both non-carbonated and carbonated.
Quality control of both raw materials and final products is done in a fully equipped laboratory.
"Compliance with the legal regulations, then the company’s requirements and the standard requirements. There are prescribed recipes and procedures that we adhere to, so that we have one standard quality of our product that we place on the market," said Nevenka Stojmenovic, Head of Quality and Control.
Bi-Water is part of the Jumko company from Vranje, and is one of the medium-sized companies. They produce bottled mineral water and juices for the domestic market and export to Northern Macedonia. They are investing in new sources of water and packaging.
“Upon being at the end of the exploitation period for a period of 15 years, the conditions and the need to enter into that project were acquired. We were very lucky, since we got 8 times more abundance than previously. We are satisfied with that part, for there are raw materials, "said Nenad Zafirovi, Director of Bi Water.
Of the hundred employees, a third of them work in manufacturing. They organized a blood donation campaign on the premises of the plant for the tenth time.
“Humanity above all. It is an indescribable feeling when you know that you have given blood and that you have saved someone's life at that moment or a few hours later, "said Dejan Djelic, Deputy Director and a blood donor.
Dragan Jovanovic, a sales representative, said that he had been with the company since its establishment and had donated blood ten times.
Apart from the employees of the water and juice manufacturing plant, blood was also donated by soldiers of the Fourth Brigade of the Army, police officers and citizens of Bujanovac and Vranje.
