Medvedja – Six children aged 40 days to 10 years of Jasmina and Milovoj Stefanovic from the village of Cokotance near Medvedja, now have a slightly more decent living conditions owing to the initiative of the teacher of religious education Dalibor Cvetkovic, who provided them the furniture for a children's room with the carpet, a pram, some clothes and much more.

The large family lives very hard because the young married couple is unemployed. They live on social assistance money and on Milovoje's wages for hired labor, which is insufficient for normal growing up and upbringing in an unfinished house.

Dalibor Cvetkovic, who teaches at the elementary school "Gornja Jablanica" in Medvedja, in cooperation with the psychologist of that school Jelena Filipovic and his colleague Danijela Mihajlovic, a teacher at the elementary school "Bora Stanković" in Guberevec near Leskovac, showed humanity, but he gave most credit for it to his colleagues.

“I thank my colleague Daniela, as well as Jelena, because without them I would not have successfully carried out this activity and helped this wonderful family. Every child deserves a smile on their face," says the religious education teacher.

He believes that the Stefanovic family is an example that not everything has to be ideal for a family to be large.

"They already have a lot of wealth, and we are here to help them as much as we can," Dalibor Cvetkovic says modestly. 

"The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Dalibor," Jasmina says.

Anyone who wants to help this family with five daughters and a 40-day-old boy can do so through the elementary school "Gornja Jablanica" in Medvedja or by personally contacting the school's religious education teacher Dalibor Cvetkovic.

The Diocese of Nis helps the family the most, while there are also individuals who help with donations for the woodwork.
