Medvedja – In the spirit of tradition and preservation of the intangible cultural heritage of the inhabitants of Gornja Jablanica, as of February 1, the Tourist Organization of Medvedja organized "Sessions" or evening gatherings.

The cycle of sessions began on February 1, with a session held in elementary school in Sijarinska Spa, while the sixteenth and final session was held on March 30 on the premises of the primary school "Gornja Jablanica" in Medvedja.

The session in Medvedja was opened by the Director of the Medvedja Tourist Organization, Ljubisa Ristic, who promised that every following year, at the beginning of winter holidays, the Tourist Organization of Medvedja team would meet with the inhabitants of the Medvedja municipality for a new series of sessions.

The Director of the Institute for the Fiddle and Epic Poetry from Belgrade, Raso Vucinic, donated a one-stringed fiddle to the Tourist Organization of the municipality of Medvedja, which will be used by young fiddlers trained at the "one-stringed fiddle school", which is, at the initiative of the Tourist Organization of Medvedja, in the formation phase.

The Tourist Organization is grateful to the heads of all local communities in which the sessions were held, as well as to the directors of elementary schools, on the premises of which the sessions were held. Until next seeing at the sessions, in February 2020.
