The Ministry of Defense announced that the call for enrollment in military schools would be issued on February 15 this year.  It invites all those interested in enrolling in military schools to follow the website and official posts of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Serbia on social networks, where the requirements of the call will be officially published on February 15, 2021.

Students of the final years of primary and secondary schools can apply for a vacancy in the Military Academy, the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy (MMA), the Military Grammar School and the Secondary Vocational Military School.

Education at the Military Academy, the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy (MMA) and the Military Grammar School is free of charge. Students and cadets are provided with free and comfortable accommodation, quality nutrition, top healthcare, textbooks and modern teaching aids, sports centers and sports fields and multimedia labs, all with the aim of acquiring the highest quality of education.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, degrees of the Military Academy and the Medical Faculty of the Military Medical Academy (MMA) are recognized and accepted in the system of higher education of the Republic of Serbia, and students and cadets will have the opportunity for advanced training and promotion that is offered to future non-commissioned officers and officers.

“The Basic Command Staff Course, Command and General Staff Training, Higher Security and Defense Studies, Master's and Doctoral Studies at the University of Defense, numerous courses and trainings both in the country and abroad, will enrich the knowledge and skills fund of the Army of Serbia’s officers and enable them to take some of the most responsible positions in the defense system", it was said in the statement.  

They point out that considerable funds have been invested, over the past few years, in equipping the Army of Serbia with the most modern weapons.

"Future officers and non-commissioned officers will command people and use the devices with combat characteristics that are equal to those in the most powerful armies in the world, which, in many respects, have no equal in the region", it was said in the statement.
