Medvedja – At yesterday's session of the Assembly of the Municipality of Medvedja, the budget proposal of the Municipality of Medvedja for the next year in the amount of 578,927,303.00 dinars was adopted by a majority vote of the councilors. 

While explaining the budget proposal, Nebojsa Arsic, the President of the Municipality of Medvedja, pointed out that the budget was planned in accordance with the current situation in the country, but also in the municipality of Medvedja. He mentioned that the proposal differed from those from the previous years, that it was rational and realistic, but also that it had kept the "developmental characteristic".

“Our priorities in 2021 will once again be the young, as well as road infrastructure and the economy. We adopted some remarks and suggestions that we had received during the public online discussion. In accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Finance, we have made a transparent, realistic and balanced budget for the next year. Due to the current epidemiological situation in our municipality, no expenses have been planned for organizing events next year. Our goals are further investment in Sijarinska Spa, subsidies in the economy and agriculture, but above all, people's health is important to us, so we shall do everything possible to make our fight against COVID as efficient as possible," Mr. Arsic said.

Also adopted at the session was the rebalance of the budget for 2020, as well as the plans of the public companies founded by the municipality of Medvedja.
