Medvedja – The 2020-2021 school year has begun for primary and secondary school students, and despite the epidemiological situation, the first days in the school desks in Medvedja started in the best possible way for the youngest students.  

The Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja provided funds from its budget with which the Municipal Administration of the Municipality of Medvedja purchased school backpacks and the necessary school supplies for all first graders in the territory of the Municipality of Medvedja.  

The President of the Municipality of Medvedja, Nebojsa Arsic, and his Deputy, Goran Ivanovic, on behalf of the leadership of the Municipality of Medvedja and the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, wished the children a happy start of going to school. They said that they hoped that the situation with the virus would last for a short time, and that all students and teaching staff would return to regular classes, which are conducted according to the old curriculum, as soon as possible.

50 first graders were enrolled in the first grade of primary school in the territory of the municipality of Medvedja, who received school bags and school supplies as a gift.
