The purpose of the call is to provide support to 99 local self-governments in the Sumadija and Western Serbia and in the Southern and Eastern Serbia regions regarding the realization of projects for the implementation and development of social welfare services (SWS) that will contribute to improving the availability and relevance of social welfare services at the local level.
Up to 20 local self-governments will be supported with a total grant amount of 242,000 euros.
The eligible areas are:
– Establishment of a new standardized local social welfare service (SWS) that is currently not provided;
– Expanding the scope of the existing standardized local SWS in local self-governments to a greater number of beneficiaries, while maintaining or improving the achieved level of quality of service delivery;
– Piloting the innovative local SWS based on its sustainability for the purpose of its later implementation.
The project duration is from 10 to 12 months.
The maximum grant amount is 13,400 US dollars or 90% of the total project value.
Minimum co-financing is 10%.
Local self-governmental units from the program territory or from the Sumadija and Western Serbia regions and the Southern and Eastern Serbia regions can apply for the call.
The local self-government may submit the project proposition in partnership with another local self-government or the Social Welfare Center responsible for the territory, which would be a project partner. The partnership must be formalized in writing (Partnership Agreement or Letter of Intent).
The call is open until April 10, 2020.
