Bujanovac – The Serbian Chamber of Commerce has opened the Entrepreneurs’ Counter in Bujanovac to assist and support the development of entrepreneurship in this municipality and to encourage young people to start their own businesses. The agreement on business and technical cooperation was signed by Branislava Simanić, Director of the Sector of Entrepreneurship of the SCC and Saip Kamberi, President of the Municipality of Bujanovac.
All entrepreneurs from the Bujanovac municipality, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, will have the opportunity to get some advice, guidance and support at the counter. The entrepreneur counter functions as a „one stop shop“ and is a non-financial support for the existing entrepreneurs and those who intend to start their own businesses. It is through cooperation with local self- governments in Serbia that we want to effectively acquaint and inform entrepreneurs about all active programs and activities and contribute to the even regional development of the Serbian economy, ”Ms.Simanić explained.
The aim, she points out, is to improve tripartite cooperation between the SCC, local self-governments and the economy. She underscores that the SCC has, so far, opened counters for entrepreneurs not only in Belgrade municipalities, but also in Sombor, Kula and Odzaci, and that it is planning to open them in Kladovo, Čoka and Apatin. The operation of counters for entrepreneurship in the municipalities enables entrepreneurs, in the municipality they belong to, to quickly and easily obtain the information they need for their businesses, to register their companies, thus saving their time by going to the competent institutions. Entrepreneurs can also get information at the counter about subsidies, calls for applications, programs, credit lines, tax regulations and procedures, and any other business improvement opportunities.
Future entrepreneurs can also be informed about the appropriate trainings and courses for start-up companies, as well as get some advice on identifying and evaluating business ideas based on market research results.
Saip Kamberi, President of the Municipality of Bujanovac, called on businessmen to use the services of the newly opened Counter for Entrepreneurs, in order to receive all information and advice relevant to conducting business operations.
Goran Jovic, Director of SCC-RCC Leskovac, said that the first counter for entrepreneurs was opened in Bujanovac in the Jablanica-Pcinj administrative district, that the Chamber successfully cooperated with the municipality and that the goal was to get as close as possible to businessmen and entrepreneurs. Businessmen should become more familiar with the programs and funds they can use, as well as with the services provided by the SCC, Mr. Jovic said.
About 700 entrepreneurs currently operate in the municipality of Bujanovac, while Rasiti Ljuan, the owner of the “Galen” company, emphasized that the counter would greatly facilitate the business of entrepreneurs and simplify administrative procedures.
