The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia issued a public call for project proposals for the implementation of the 1809 Program "Prevention and Control of Leading Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases" Project 0002 – Support to the Activities of Healthcare Institutions in the Field of Oncological Healthcare ", which will be financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia.

Projects can be submitted by all interested secondary and tertiary-level healthcare institutions from the Healthcare Network Plan, which through their proposed projects can contribute to the achievement of the goals of the National Cancer Health Program "Serbia against Cancer".

Priority in financing will be given to the projects whose activities envisage the professional development of specialist doctors in the country and abroad, in order to master new healthcare technologies that will be used in the process of diagnosis and treatment of malignant diseases.

Training of specialist medical doctors abroad will be provided, up to a maximum of 750,000 dinars per candidate, while their selection will be made by healthcare institutions.

All interested healthcare institutions may apply by completing the M1 and M2 forms, which are available on the Ministry of Health’s website. Project proposals, along with complete documentation, should be submitted by registered and e-mail to:

The deadline for the submission of projects is 15 days from the date of publication of the call on the Ministry of Health’s website. The projects are to be implemented by December 15, 2019.  

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia will make the list of approved funding projects public on its website www.zdravlje.gov.rs  .
