This year, the Fund for National Minorities will support 72 projects in the field of education of national minorities with a total of 24 million dinars.

“Over the past three years, the Fund for National Minorities supported about 200 projects in the field of culture and information and in the languages of national minorities.  This year, we are financing another 72 projects in the field of education, and thus we are contributing to the improvement of the rights of our national minorities in this area and the strengthening of civil society organizations dealing with the protection of minority rights, "Minister Ruzic said.

The call for applications was issued on February 18, 2020. The right to participate in the call had : institutions, associations, foundations, companies and other organizations whose founders are the national councils of national minorities; civil society organizations registered in the appropriate register, and whose goals, according to the statutory provisions, are achieved in the field of protection and promotion of the rights and position of members of national minorities, which have their seats in the Republic of Serbia, as well as endowments, foundations and conferences of universities and academies of vocational studies.
