Bujanovac – The eco quiz called “Saving the Planet by Knowledge” was heled at the Youth Cultural Center (OKCE) in Vranje, where three secondary schools competed.  The first place was won by students of the"Saint Sava" secondary school from Bujanovac.

The secondary technical school won the second place, while the secondary agricultural and veterinary School from Vranje won the third place.  

Each team was awarded a diploma, while other prizes would be awarded later on. 

Gordana Nikolic, the President of the "Our World, Our Rules" association, which exists as part of the Vranje Grammar School, which organized the quiz, said that "the goal of the quiz is to raise the level of ecological awareness about the preservation and promotion of the environment".

“Out of five schools, three of them made it to the finals. Through a series of games and associations, the students will show how we can save the planet by knowledge, which is the slogan of this year's quiz, " Ms. Nikolic said.

The eco quiz, which is educational and research-project in character, consisted of the tasks named Eco Riddles, Correct Words, Step by Step, Couplings and Associations. A three-member commission checked the regularity of the quiz and scoring.
