STUDENT MOBILITY GUIDE PUBLISHED

The Erasmus Student Network of Serbia recently published a Guide to Student Mobility, Knowledge Base and Experiences when it comes to the academic advanced training of young people abroad.

The Erasmus Student Network of Serbia recently published a Guide to Student Mobility, Knowledge Base and Experiences when it comes to the academic advanced training of young people abroad.

The guide was developed with the aim of acquainting students in Serbia with the mobility programs available to them, as well as to show them, through the experiences of the students who have already participated in them, that taking part in an exchange program is not that complicated.

The benefits of participating in mobility programs are invaluable, and according to a survey (https://ec.europa.eu/education/policies/higher-education/mobility-and-cooperation_en ) conducted by the European Commission, 80% of mobility program alumni have found work  in their professions within 3 months after graduation. In addition to professional development, students and young people have the opportunity to improve their soft skills, such as knowledge of other countries, interaction and cooperation with people with different cultural backgrounds, adaptability, foreign language skills and communication skills.

In addition to providing young people with mobility opportunities for personal and professional advancement, the mobility programs also provide a platform for intercultural dialogue between young people that contributes to breaking down stereotypes and prejudices.

With this manual, the Erasmus Student Network of Serbia wants to encourage young people to continue investing in themselves, get out of the comfort zone and try their hand at things that they thought were inaccessible to them until now.
