The Balkan Trust for Democracy of the German Marshall Fund USA and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade issued the call "Strengthening EU Integration" in order to contribute to the reform process and the membership perspective of the Western Balkans into the European Union.
The Balkan Trust for Democracy of the German Marshall Fund USA and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade issued the call "Strengthening EU Integration" in order to contribute to the reform process and the membership perspective of the Western Balkans into the European Union.
The overall objective of the call is to contribute to the consolidation of democratic, institutional reforms, lasting peace and stability in Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro, through providing support to the initiatives of the civil society organizations towards the EU integration process, with a focus on specific negotiating chapters:
Chapter 5: Public Procurements
Chapter 8: Competition Policy
Chapter 23: Judiciary and Fundamental Rights
Chapter 24: Justice, Freedom and Security
Chapter 32: Financial Control
Chapter 35: Other Issues
Civil society organizations from Serbia, Macedonia and Montenegro can apply as applicants. Applicants must be registered in one of those countries.
Organizations may apply individually or in partnership with other CSOs.
Activities must take place in the territory of Serbia and /or Macedonia and/or Montenegro.
The project implementation period is 12 months.
As part of the call, individual grants amounting from 25,000 to 100,000 euros will be awarded.
The competition is open throughout the year.
