Belgrade, Presevo – The Government of the Republic of Serbia has reached a conclusion requiring temporary possession of the land owned by legal entities and natural persons along the border with Northern Macedonia and Bulgaria.
The aim of the measure is to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, and in particular the massive unauthorized crossing of the state border beyond the border crossing point, it was published in the latest edition of Official Gazette.
The width of the belt that will be temporarily taken up or the surface of the land was determined by the Study on the Obstruction of the State Border with the Republic of Northern Macedonia and the Study on the Obstruction of the State Border with the Republic of Bulgaria.
The decision on temporary possession of the land, at the proposal of the Republican Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia, is reached by the Ministry of Finance and it becomes final on the day of its adoption.
