Presevo, Bujanovac – The Special Hospital in Bujanovac Spa has been turned into quarantine for those arriving in Presevo and Bujanovac from abroad and who will be accommodated there until the results of their tests for the coronavirus arrive. Currently, there are no quarantined people there because the tests of all those who stayed there were negative, said the Special Hospital’s chief technician Marijan Tomic
By decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the hospital in Bujanovac Spa has been turned into quarantine for all Serbian citizens entering the country, usually at the Presevo border crossing, as well as at other border crossings.
“They are accommodated in accordance with the instructions given by the sanitary inspector at the border crossing. Sampling is done at the Special Hospital, while teams from the Vranje Institute for Public Health come. All those who are negative for the coronavirus are placed in home isolation for 28 days, while the positive ones are referred to other health care institutions," Mr. Tomic said.
The Special Hospital has 180 beds and, according to Mr. Tomic, constant medical supervision, food and security are also provided.
