Medvedja – If one can say for Sijarinska Spa “you get there sick and you return from there healthy”, then one can also say for Tularska Spa "you get there young, when you get tired of the city." Located in a small valley expansion of the Trupalska River, surrounded by nature, the small spa became a favorite place for gatherings of young people.

Tularska Spa is located in the municipality of Medvedja. It is 63 kilometers away from  Leskovac, 10 from Medvedja and 15 from Sijarinska Spa.  It was named after the village of Tulare and is located in a meadow near the river.

There are currently two water springs in the area of the ​​spa that emerged in 2012, when geologists conducted field testing. The water springs are only two meters apart.

The first water spring is the source of hot water that flows into a small pool. Locals call it a "small geyser" and the water temperature is 40 degrees. Another water spring provides cold mineral water used for drinking. Swimming and water dispensing is free of charge.

Both water springs are located in front of the house of Milisav Vukadinovic, a villager, who claims that a paradise on Earth does exist.

"It is not only young people that come here, but older people have heard that the warm water is healing. It cures skin diseases and rheumatism, while the locals say that people get back home healed after the third bathing," Milisav says.

However, the healing waters of the spa are not sufficiently used, the local population uses the water for treatment on their own initiative, while medical, tourist and catering facilities do not exist at all.

The only investor and contractor in Tularska Spa was the Canadian company "Avala", with the approval of the municipality of Medvedja and home owner Milisav Vukadinovic.

There are no luxury villas, hotels and swimming pools at the said spa, but maybe that's the secret of the quiet place surrounded by fragrant forests.
