Behind them on the infamous list are residents of eastern Serbia with 2. 877 milliliters of alcohol, followed byVojvodina with 2. 511 and the Belgrade area with 2. 322 milliliters of alcohol.
The same research showed that as many as three-quarters of the population or 5.4 million people in Serbia intermittently or constantly use alcohol.
Experts warn that alcohol has a detrimental effect on our health and that it causes one death in the world every 10 seconds.
