Vranje – “Very few business entities from South Serbia opt for the funds provided by the Development Fund, which are intended for the development of entrepreneurship and economy, "said Goran Jovic, the Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Jablanica and Pcinj Districts.
Mr. Jovic said at a meeting held with representatives of the local self-governments of the Pcinj district in Vranje that that was a missed opportunity for the municipalities of the Jablanica and Pcinj districts, which were among the least developed ones in Serbia.
Unfortunately, among the 13 municipalities and one city municipality (Vranje Spa), there are nine devastated municipalities. These nine municipalities should use the incentives granted by the Government of Serbia the most, "Mr. Jovic said.
He pointed out that the Regional Chamber of Commerce would, in the future, put emphasis on informing the entrepreneurs about those programs, through which very favorable loans were offered.
“Those are four-year loans without interest, which include a one-year grace period. What is very important and what many entrepreneurs do not know is that 25 percent of those loans are written off at the beginning, which is a very favorable arrangement, "Mr. Jovic said.
He also said that another meeting would be held at the “Simpo” facility on March 26, during which the new Development Fund’s program, along with the new offers for the development of entrepreneurship and economy, would be presented.
