The “Simpo” company is out of blockade, thus creating the conditions for the start of the production process in some of its plants from September 15.   

According to “Simpo’s” Director General, Sladjan Disic, that applies primarily to the factory of upholstery products in Vranje and to the mattress factory in Bujanovac.  

“The other plants will begin operating successively, depending on the dynamics of the arrival of raw materials from the country and abroad.  Intensive discussions and negotiations with the suppliers on the rescheduling of “Simpo’s” liabilities are underway, as well as the defining of new terms for future cooperation,” Mr. Disic said.  

He added that the suppliers of key raw materials from Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia and other countries will visit the company during the week.  

The Director General said that “Simpo” should do a larger volume of work in all its factories in late September and early October, as the company, after the completion of the conversion process, expected that the Government would consider granting it a credit for the smooth functioning of its production capacity in the core business.

Let’s remind you that the banks withdrew blockade almost a month ago, and that the Tax Administration did the same last Thursday and Friday, pursuant to the decision of the Government of Serbia reached on August 30.  

The Extraordinary General Meeting of “Simpo” was held at the beginning of September, during which, among others,  ​​the decision on the seventh issue of shares for a qualified investor of the Republic of Serbia, at the nominal price of 1. 801,50 dinars per share, was made.
