Dr. Sladjan Stankovic, an epidemiologist at the Institute for Public Health in Vranje, says that vaccination against seasonal flu will begin on October 1 and will be performed at all health centers and surgeries in the Pcinj district.
Immunization is compulsory for risk groups, or for chronic patients and persons accommodated at social protection institutions, as well as for the employees of those institutions. The vaccine will also be given to healthcare professionals who are in constant contact with patients.
