The Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja will award scholarships this year, too,  to secondary school students in the area of the municipalities in the amount of six thousand (6, 000) dinars per month.

"This is the fifth year that the Coordination Body grants scholarships to secondary school students from Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja. Over 200 students who come from disadvantaged families can count on the Coordination Body’s scholarships, provided they meet the requirements of the competition. Despite the difficult financial situation, we managed, this year, too, to provide financial assistance to secondary school students in South Serbia”, said Zoran Stankovic, the Coordination Body’s President. The Coordination Body’s President said that such activities were in line with the priorities of the body, including, among other things, education, social issues and economic development.

Entitled to apply for the scholarships are all secondary school students from Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja who are residents of these municipalities, while students who have managed to exercise the right to receiving some of the student’s scholarships from the budget of the Republic of Serbia aren’t entitled to apply for the Coordination Body’s scholarship.

Requests and application forms for the competition can be downloaded on the Coordination Body’s website or at the Coordination Body’s offices in Presevo and Bujanovac and at the municipal body of the municipality of Medvedja.

The competition is open from October 1 to 16, 2013.
