Prague – The Bakala Foundation awards scholarships for a summer training camp in journalism in Prague.

The deadline for applications is May 4, 2020.

Applications are open to male and female university students from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and the USA.

The trainers will be professional journalists who will discuss various topics with students, including identifying and using the sources and the guidelines for social networks and checking information, while they will also carry out practical exercises for field reporting.

Scholarships will be provided for the selected participants, which will cover travel,  accommodation, visa-issuing and student materials expenses.

Interested candidates should have at least two academic semesters completed and a good command of English.
