Medvedja – Road infrastructure is rebuilt in almost the entire territory of the municipality of Medvedja, while construction machinery is placed at eight locations. Works are carried out on a religious facility, too.

Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, along wuth his associates, visited the works and controlled  how well the roads  in the local communities were being done.

“One of the gretest problems that residents of the entire territory of the municipality of Medvedja are facing is road infrastructure, which was damaged after a constant heavy rainfall and bad weather. Our hope and goal is that we complete the rebuilding of all the planned roads  during the construction season, while eight roads are currently under construction, " Mayor Arsic said.

Mayor Arsic visited the church of St. Petka in Sisince, located in the local community of  Bucumet, where residents themselves collected funds to reconstruct the sanctuary, while the plan is to construct a summer facility, too, where they would all gather.

“The road in the village of Vrapce is also being fixed up, where the “Srbijasume” company used its machines to clear the way for the contractors, so that they could carry out further works easily,” Mayor Arsic said.   

The public utility company "Obnova" maintains the roads on a regular basis, while the companies that got the job of doing the roads in the municipality of Medvedja, through a tender, are "HSV Ltd.” and "AB kop" from Vlasotince.
