Bujanovac – Kristijan Stosic, a marathon runner from Vranje, won the 26th place (with the result of 2:27) in the marathon held in Vienna.
Saša Ćuković and Slaviša Jović, residents of Bujanovac who are members of the Athletic Club “Vranje Marathon Runners”, participated in a semi-marathon race, which was held as part of the same competition.
Mr. Stosic's result was by 18 minutes better than the one he had at the Belgrade Marathon, where he had won.
“By this, he showed that he is currently unbeatable on the marathon track in Serbia," members of the Vranje club said.
Next weekend, members of the Vranje Marathon Runners will participate in the Belgrade semi-marathon race.
