Bujanovaac – On May 8, the Bujanovac Red Cross organized a campaign to mark the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day in Karadjordje Square and the main street in Bujanovac.
The volunteers handed out to passers-by the promotional material about the activities of the Red Cross, which provides assistance to the most vulnerable people all over the world.
Damnjan Popovic, an associate of the Bujanovac Red Cross who is in charge of organizing campaigns, joined the volunteers.
“By marking the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, the Red Cross Week started, within which we, in cooperation with the Institute of Public Health in Vranje, will organize a panel discussion, beginning at 12 am. Planned for a day later is the holding of a meeting of Bujanovac "Club 25", the members of which are young blood donors from the age of 18 to 25. On Friday, we are planning a meeting on social affairs of the Bujanovac Red Cross, while we will undertake another activity over the weekend,” Mr. Popovic said.
