Belgrade – The concept of elementary school final test will be completely changed, said the Education Minister Mladen Sarcevic, adding that there were irregularities in taking the final exam in two districts and that everyone responsible in those districts would be replaced, including the heads of school administrations.

He pointed out that school administrations in four districts were, this year, under special scrutiny due to the irregularities in taking the final exam in the previous year. Those districts include the Pcinj, Jablanica, Raska and Kosovo and Metohija districts.  

“Things were out of control in Kosovo and Metohija and Jablanica districts. We cannot have full control of and get an insight into things in Kosovo, and I can turn a blind eye to them, but I will undertake appropriate measures in the Pcinj district,” Minister Sarcevic said.

He stressed that he had asked for full reports on the final exam, adding that he would replace the heads of school administrations, as well as directors of the schools where irregularities had occurred.
