Bujanovac, Presevo – It has started to snow in South Serbia, while the temperatures are below zero. The Centers for the Reception of Migrants in Bujanovac and Presevo are heated and there is enough room for everyone.

The Reception Center in Bujanovac is heated 24 hours a day and there are, currently, around 160 migrants there, who are mostly families with children.

Tanja Kacar from the Commissariat for Refugees pointed out that all preparations for the winter had been done in a timely fashion.    

“Everything has been provided, the rooms are warm 24 hours per day, the clothing and footwear have been ensured, as well as three meals per day and bathrooms with hot water, "said Tanja Kacar.

There is also enough room for new migrants. There is enough space for 220 people in Bujanovac, while a new group of migrants is expected during the day.

920 migrants are currently accommodated in Presevo, who are also staying on warm premises, while the accommodation capacity in Presvo is almost filled up.
