PUBLIC CALL IN THE FIELD OF ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN WHO EXPERIENCED VIOLENCE, THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS THEIR SELF-EMPLOYMENT (DEADLINE: APRIL 15, 2019)

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans' and Social Affairs issued a Public Call for Funds in 2019 to support projects of associations in the field of economic empowerment of women who had suffered violence, with the aim of their self-employment.

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans' and Social Affairs issued a Public Call for Funds in 2019 to support projects of associations in the field of economic empowerment of women who had suffered violence, with the aim of their self-employment.

The objective of the public call is to improve the economic position and the status of women who have suffered violence through improved conditions for the realization of the process of their self-employment.

The funds for the call, in the total amount of 3,000,000.00 dinars, are provided by the Law on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2019 ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia", No. 95/18). The maximum amount that can be claimed under a proposed project is 500,000.00 dinars.

Eligible to participate are the associations that:

  • Are registered in the Register of Associations of the Business Registers Agency;
  • Operate in the territory of the Republic of Serbia;
  • The goals of which, according to the statutory provisions, are achieved in the field of economic empowerment of women, prevention of violence against women and self-employment of women;
  • Have the necessary capacity to implement the proposed project (human resources and access to the equipment, etc.).

Interested associations can submit their project proposals and submit the required documentation by 3.30 pm on April 15, 2019 at the latest.
