Belgrade – The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection issued a public call for the submission of applications for approving the incentives for investments in the physical assets of agricultural holdings for the purchase of new tractors in 2017.

The request for granting the incentives should be submitted in the period from April 10 to May 19, 2017, on the form called – The Request for Approving the Right to Incentives for Investments in the Physical Assets of Agricultural Holdings for the Purchase of New Tractors in 2017.

Funds in the amount of 210.5 million dinars have been earmarked for approving the right to the incentives. The Director of the Directorate approves the right to incentives by a decision, in order of   the submission of requests, until the funds are spent.

The incentives are provided on the basis of acceptable investment costs for the purchase of a new tractor, the power of which is up to 100 kilowatts, which has standard parts, units and the equipment, including the accompanying tractor cabin, provided that it is used exclusively for performing the agricultural works in the fields of fruit-growing, viticulture and vegetable farming, which was manufactured not later than three years before the year in which the right to the granting of incentives is enjoyed. 

The said subsidy can be received by active registered farms.

The incentives are awarded in the amount of 50% of the value of the realized acceptable investments, which are reduced by the amount of funds for value added tax, or in the amount of 65% of this value in an area with difficult working conditions in agriculture. The maximum total amount of incentives that a beneficiary can receive in a calendar year on these grounds is 1,800,000 dinars.
