The Ministry of the Environment has issued a public call for proposals to support civil society projects in the field of environmental protection in 2020.

The overall objective of the public call is to protect and improve the environment within the following themes and areas:

1. Nature protection – ecological network and protected areas;

2. Ecological entrepreneurship – circular economy;

3. Civic activism – implementation of environmental laws, waste and wastewater management, strategic and environmental impact assessments, air pollution and protection from noise;

4. Climate change – mitigating climate change (reducing greenhouse gas emissions) and/or adapting to the changing climatic conditions.

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 days from the date of the announcement of the public call on the Ministry's website, or by February 20, 2020.
