The subject of the call: Selection of agribusiness companies/cooperatives/associations of producers, the representatives of which will participate in the training program aimed at developing the existing export capacities and further improving them. 

The area of the call: Development of agriculture and the food industry.

The overall objective of the call: Improving the export potential of the agribusiness sector in the Republic of Serbia with the aim of further improving the foreign trade balance in the sector of agriculture and food industry.

The priority thematic areas within the training program are:
• Improvement of the export performance of agribusiness companies;
• Export strategies and access to new markets;
• Analysis of supply and demand;
• Legislation, regulations and requirements for exporting products to foreign markets;
• Development of new products;
• Business negotiation strategies;
• Quality standards and certification; .

• Marketing, branding, design, packaging and labeling

General requirements for participation: Beneficiaries of the training can be representatives of export-oriented companies/cooperatives/associations of producers registered in the Republic of Serbia and entered in the Business Registers Agency that deal with the production and processing of fruit, vegetables, meat and milk.

General information on the training program:
1. The training program is part of the activities within the framework of the "Trade Assistance – Support to the Development of Production Capacities of the Agro-Industrial Sector in Serbia", which is funded by the Government of the Russian Federation and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP);

2. The holding of 10 two-day training courses in the September-November 2017 period are planned;  
3. The participation of 20 beneficiaries in a two-day training course, a total of 200 beneficiaries in the entire training program, is planned;
4. Upon completion of the program, 10 top companies will be selected to which technical consulting assistance in terms of certification and introduction of internationally recognized quality standards will be provided. The companies themselves will finance the necessary infrastructure changes.

The training will be free for the selected candidates.
