The Ministry of Environmental Protection issued a public call for the allocation of funds from the Green Fund in 2019 for the purpose of supporting the implementation of projects for developing  waste management systems.

Eligible to submit applications for the allocation of funds are the local self-governmental units that are responsible for the activity of organizing the regional waste management system. The applicant can submit one application to the call for applications.

The application should contain information on the applicant, study and project, as well as other information relevant for the evaluation and financing of the study and project, depending on the specificity of the particular study and project.

The local self-governmental unit exercises the right to funds of the Green Fund if:

1. Funds for the same purposes have not been allocated to it from the budget of the Republic of Serbia,  

2. Has settled all due liabilities on the basis of public revenues.

The total funds available for the realization of this competition were provided in the amount of 100,000,000.00 dinars. The amount of funds for the selected projects amounts to up to 80% of the total funds required for the implementation of the project.  

The deadline for submitting the applications is 15 (fifteen) days from the date of the announcement of the call on the official website of the Ministry (www.ekologija.gov.rs ) and the e-Government Portal (www.euprava.gov.rs (date of publication April 3, 2019.)
