Upon successful completion of the competition in the previous year under the "European Diary" project, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia invites secondary school students to apply for a new contest for creative and innovative work! This year's themes of the competition include the topics covered in the publication "European Diary 2018/2019", which are as follows:
• EU and I;
• EU and Serbia;
• Let’s Preserve our Environment;
• Healthy Lifestyles;
• Active Citizenship;
• Prevention of Violence.
The participation in the contest implies two types of work and four categories.
TYPES OF WORK
1.Individual work;
2. Group work.
CATEGORIES
1. Literary works (poems, stories, news, articles);
2. Art works;
3. Photo reports or photographs;
4. The multi-media forms (audio and video works up to 5 minutes’ long, strips, presentations, web pages, applications, games, audio and video animations, or a combination of two or more of these forms).
Individual works are submitted exclusively in the categories: literary works, art works and photo reports and photographs. Group works are submitted within the category of multimedia forms.
A total of 12 works will be awarded.
The winners will have the unique opportunity to go on a seven-day trip to one or more EU countries in May 2019. Mentors of the winning teams (one mentor per student /team) will travel together with the students.
The deadline for the submission of works is February 21, 2019, until 3 pm. To register for the competition, apart from your work, you must complete the application form, which is available on the website www.evropskidnevnik.rs .
All works should be submitted electronically via the website www.evropskidnevnik.rs except for art works, which should, together with the application form, be submitted to the following address: The EU Information Center – For the Competition European Diary 2018/2019, Kralja Milana 7, 11000 Belgrade .
The received works will be judged by a jury of experts, while the results of the competition will be published in March 2019 on the site www.evropskidnevnik.rs .
