Presevo – The US Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Government of Serbia, will officially put into operation in Presevo a new water tank, the capacity of which is 1,000 cubic meters, as well as the renewed existing reservoir, the capacity of which is 500 cubic meters of drinking water.
The USAID provided 200,000 US dollars and the municipality of Presevo an additional 160,000 US dollars for the construction of a new water tank and the renewal of the existing one.
These two water tanks will provide a reliable supply of drinking water to both the residents of the municipality and the migrants staying at the reception center.
The ceremony of commissioning the tanks in Presevo will be attended by Sciprim Arifi, the Head of the Interim Body in Presevo, Kyle Scott, the US Ambassador to Serbia and by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
