Presevo – Once a week, Teuta Jusufi, a hairdresser, closes her salon in Presevo and, along with her assistants, goes to the Reception Center where she does the hair of women refugees for free. According to her, the smile that she gets back from the women, who have experienced the horrors of war and exile, is priceless.

Her initiative to do the hair of these women for free was accepted without any problems whatsoever by the organizations working in the Center for Migrants.

“We have been watching the woes of the people passing through Presevo for years.  My husband and I always tried to help them, especially in the beginning, when camp in Presevo was not fully fitted out. This is my small contribution, which comes from the desire to make their refugee days easier,”   Teuta says.

She adds that it is not difficult for her and her assistants to help, at least for a short while, the women migrants at her makeshift salon on the premises of the Presevo Reception Center.
