Presevo – The municipality of Presevo ​ got its first notary, so that the citizens will no longer have to travel 70 kilometers to Vranje in order to have their documents certified. Avni Aliti, Deputy Head of the Municipal Administration, said that the appointment of the notary was appreciated by the citizens of Presevo, since higher-value documents could, for years, be certified only in Vranje.  

“So far, we have been able only to have diplomas and some lesser-value documents certified in the municipality of Presevo, while we had to go to Vranje to have all higher-value documents certified. We have not yet met with the notary, who started working on July 27, and we do not know which affairs and in which areas we will be able to complete at his office, Mr. Aliti said.

Begzad Iljazi was appointed the first notary in Presevo. Residents of the municipality of Presevo have not had the Basic Court and the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office, nor the notary, since the last census in 2011, while in 2016, the local authorities addressed the Public Notary Chamber with the request for announcing a public competition for a notary.
