Young people from the territory of South Serbia are invited to apply for the participation in the quality work practice program, which is implemented by the Belgrade Open School (BOS), in partnership with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The practice program is implemented as part of the project "PRAKSAM III – Introducing Young People to the World of Work through Work Practice".

Eligible to apply are motivated young people who want to gain quality work experience through work practice in businesses across Serbia. In addition to opportunities for learning and gaining work experience, the Belgrade Open School (BOS) will provide all young practitioners with modest financial compensation amounting to the cost of cooked meals and local transportation, as well as with the opportunity for professional networking. Each of the selected trainees will be assigned a mentor/s from the business entity in which the practice will be done.

So far, over 80 young people have passed the BOS work practice programs in more than 50 companies and public institutions, of which about 80% of them were employed upon the completion of practice.

Male and female trainees will be selected in September. During a three-month work practice, each of them will have a mentor in the company, who will be responsible for their professional improvement, as well as for their quality preparation for the world of work. 

The call for applying for the PRAKSAM internship program is open until August 28, 2017.
