Bujanovac – Vehicles from Zuzeljica, Ljiljance, Zbevc, Kosarna, Bogdanovac, Bozinjevac, Bujanovac Lake and other settlements in the municipality of Bujanovac that are situated across the South Morava River, which have been using the routes around the old “Govedaarski” bridge for over two years, will soon get a long-awaited connection to Bujanovac.
Of course, pedestrians will no longer have to risk going over the damaged bridge near the former "Jugokop" facility.
The new bridge over the South Morava River, the construction of which began last October, which is located near the old "Govedarski" bridge, should be completed by mid-September this year.
Representatives of the consortium of contractors working on the Srpske Kuce – Levosoj stretch of Corridor 10 say that that infrastructure facility, as well as an overpass above the highway route, will be first opened to traffic.
The works on hydro-insulation and construction of access roads are in progress, so that if there are no unforeseen circumstances, the new bridge will be opened to traffic in about a month and a half.
