Medvedja – On the basis of the assessment of the current epidemiological situation in the municipality of Medvedja, the Municipal Emergency Management Staff of the Municipality of Medvedja issued an Order requiring the Municipal Administration of the Municipality of Medvedja, Public Institutions and Enterprises, as well as schools, trade shops and catering establishments to take the necessary measures to act preventively in the event of the spread of the current virus.

The Center for Social Work of the Municipality of Medvedja and the Red Cross Municipal Organization were ordered to organize a volunteer service and coordinate with all available capacities, as well as to provide the necessary supplies and provide any other assistance to the citizens over 65 years of age.

It has been ordered that all primary schools in the territory of the Medvedja municipality, “Nikola Tesla” secondary technical school, preschool institution “Mladost” from Medvedja, the municipal administration of the municipality of Medvedja and all institutions founded by the municipalitiy of Medvedja should carry out complete disinfection of all the facilities they use.

All sports centers, fitness clubs, gyms, betting facilities, sports and folklore schools etc. are ordered to stop operating until further notice.

The operation of all reception counters was discontinued, while the operation of bodies, institutions and companies is organized according to the principle of minimum work required for functioning.

The “Obnova” public enterprise will strengthen the control of sanitary and other correctness of the drinking water supply plant, as well as the quality control of drinking water.

It was ordered that public enterprise ”Obnova” and the company POR VERNER VEBER Leskovac were to enable the postponement of paying all bills until the state of emergency was abolished, without interest being charged.

By the order of the Staff, all catering establishments in the territory of the Municipality of Medvedja were ordered to further limit their working hours to the time period from 9am to 7pm and to disinfect their facilities, as well as to arrange the stay of their guests at the  sanitary distance that is in accordance with the recommendations of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Shops in the territory of Mevdedja municipality were ordered to disinfect their facilities and to limit the maximum number of customers on their premises.

It is recommended to all persons in the territory of the municipality of Medvedja who came from areas affected by the corona virus epidemic to temporarily restrict movement in accordance with the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

It is recommended that all citizens of the municipality of Medvedja comply with the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and other competent institutions regarding the corona virus epidemic and the state of emergency, to show seriousness, solidarity, and not to unnecessarily accumulate reserves of food, medicines and other consumer goods.
