A call for the selection of the most gender-sensitive company in Serbia was issued under the auspices of the Coordination Body for Gender Equality, while it was organized by the Association of Business Women of Serbia.  

Companies which implement the policy of Corporate Social Responsibility in their business operations, which are guided by the principles of gender equality and which fairly act towards all employees, respecting  human rights and non-discrimination, which promote education, training and professional development of women in their operations, which work on ensuring the health, safety and equality of all workers, which publicly advocate for the equality and women and which include women’s companies in the supply chain, will contribute by their examples to providing a new, gender-sensitive climate in Serbia.  

The call for the most gender-sensitive company is part of the project "Equal in the Value Chain," which was launched by the Coordination Body for Gender Equality and the Association of Business Women in Serbia, with the support of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC), the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Serbia, with the aim of providing direct aid to women's entrepreneurship and encouraging the involvement of women in the supply chains of large companies, because it is not just a question of social responsibility, but also an economic interest of the country, because it means better and faster economic development and growth in Gross Domestic Product.  

The award in the category of the "Most Gender-Sensitive Company" will be awarded in October this year, at the ceremony " Flower Success for a Dragon Woman, " by which the 20th anniversary of the Association of Business Women in Serbia will be marked.
