Bujanovac – The “St. Sava” secondary school from Bujanovac moved into the new school year with only four vacancies in the first year and strict rules against the spread of the corona virus.
Out of 120 vacancies in the four classes, 116 vacancies have been filled, while there are still vacancies only in the waiter profile.
“I invite students who have enrolled in some other schools, but have changed their minds in the meantime, to come to us. It is a great vocation and they will surely be able to find a job. The doors of the school are open and we expect that the school’s capacity will be filled to the maximum ", Principal Biserka Jovic says.
From the first day of the new school year, the school is rigorously implementing measures against preventing the spread of the corona virus, while teaching is combined.
“All classes with more than 15 students are divided into two groups. The theoretical part of the classes will be followed by one group at school, while the other group will follow the classes online at home, and this will be done by turns for a week. There is no distance learning when it comes to exercises or practical classes and foreign language classes, where students have already been divided into groups. The examinations will be performed exclusively at the school ", the Principal said.
She emphasized that all the recommendations of the Crisis Staff will be followed – from the obligatory wearing of masks and maintaining distance in classrooms to dessau-barriers and disinfectants.
