The Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade will hold an online basic training aimed at obtaining a mediator-intermediary license, which will, upon the training, be issued by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia. The online training will be held from December 9 to 13, 2020.

Completed training is one of the conditions for entry in the Register of Mediators of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia. The training is conducted in accordance with the Rulebook on the Basic Training Program for Intermediaries ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 146/14).

The program is intended for the widest target group of professionals of various occupations, but the following can be singled out: lawyers, attorneys, social workers, psychologists, employees in the fields of social protection, healthcare, local self-government, public, private and non-governmental sectors, trade union representatives and other interested persons.

The skills developed by this program are widely applicable in working with almost all groups and individuals that are in conflict with each other.

Upon undergoing the basic training for a mediator, the participants acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and license, which enable them to be engaged as professionals in resolving disputes in their own work environment and, on call, in the work environments of other economic entities.
