Medvedja – As part of the regular activities of the Office for Poverty Reduction in Medvedja, which is currently working on the project "Work with Seekers of Financial Assistance", the project team visited seekers of financial assistance in the field. 

A meeting with representatives of public and private companies, during which a presentation of the Office for Poverty Reduction will be given, is to be held next week. Topics to be discussed at the meeting will include work engagement of the seekers of financial assistance, as well as the opportunities for their employment.

“We hope that we will achieve agreement on the provision of assistance to socially vulnerable groups at a meeting with representatives of public institutions and enterprises, as well as with private companies. They will, in return, be hired for labor and will thus repay for the obtained financial assistance, "said Ivana Kovinic, the Project Manager.

The project is funded, through the European Progress program, by the European Union, the Swiss Government and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
