BUJANOVAC – A new guide on how to strengthen the role of civil society in monitoring the work of local self-government will be launched in Bujanovac today.

The book entitled "Strengthening Civil Society and Media for Monitoring the Work of Local-Self Government," was co-produced by the Serbian NGO Centre for Free Elections and Democracy (CESID) and the OSCE Mission to Serbia. This guide will inform civil society activists, media professionals and citizens about various tools and mechanisms for effective monitoring of the work of local self-government, especially of the work of municipal assemblies, which are primary decision-making bodies at the local level.
